Canadian-born Andrea Leigh Chlebak recently completed major entertainment titles including NEON’s Immaculate for which she received an HPA nomination, Netflix’s Sirens S1, Searchlight Picture’s Nightbitch, Hulu’s The Girl from Plainville, Netflix’s Naomi Osaka, Apple TV+’s Schmigadoon!, and HBOMax’s An American Pickle, as well as collaborating for a third time with award-winning cinematographer, Gregory Middleton (ASC), to supervise color for Netflix’s feature, A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting.
Chlebak began her career as a graphic artist and photographer, then editor and compositor. She turned to color grading in 2006. Her multi-disciplinary background has spanned advertising, features, and docu-series. Major credits include Hollywood studio films including Neil Blomkamp’s Elysium and Chappie, as well as award-winning indies, Mandy, directed by Panos Cosmatos, and Prospect, directed by Christopher Caldwell and Zeek Earl. Her career has taken her to some of the industry’s leading post-production houses including Deluxe, EFILM, Encore, Company3, and Digital Film Central.
Andrea also crafted the bespoke look for the cinematic video game by Ubisoft, Far Cry 6.
In the advertising industry, Andrea has worked on campaigns with major brands including American Apparel, Telus, Mercedes Benz, and CVS.
