Leah Ayinde is a Lead Compositor at Harbor, known for blending artistry, technical skill, and curiosity across film and advertising.
After studying Stop Motion Animation in Canterbury, Leah began her career as a runner at Lucky Cat in Soho, where she trained in Flame and developed a foundation that bridges creativity and technology. She went on to work in TV drama and episodic projects, including Peaky Blinders and Killing Eve, before moving to The Mill to expand her Nuke expertise across commercials, music videos, and campaigns.
Now at Harbor, Leah focuses on mentorship and collaboration, guiding juniors in software, on- set workflows, and the wider VFX industry. Her stop-motion roots influence her eye for texture and design, seen in her miniature painting, 3D interiors, and experiments with AI tools.
Proud projects include Women’s Aid’s Van Wife and Barnardo’s Mollusc. Leah thrives on creative problem-solving and storytelling with impact, as she works toward VFX supervision and deeper involvement from script to screen.
