Cass’s love of editing developed from his love of storytelling. As he grew as an editor, he was drawn to its impact—its ability to convey emotion, clarify a story, or highlight the best in a performance. Cass started his comedy career working on fast food campaigns, which led to more dialogue-driven comedy. He loves comedy because “it doesn’t lie. There’s no interpretation. Either it’s funny or it’s not.”
Over the years, Cass has worked with outstanding directors, creatives, and producers across advertising and filmmaking. He has collaborated with brands such as Coke, Uniqlo, Under Armour, Converse, NFL, Adidas, IBM, Apple, and Samsung, and with directors including Ellen Kuras, Spike Lee, Roman Coppola, Noam Murrow, Janusz Kamiński, Fredrik Bond, and many others.
