HARBOR exists to elevate the art, science, and creative experience of moving image-making.

In 2012, Zak Tucker, Joe Gawler, and Theo Stanley launched The Harbor Picture Company, an independent studio crafting premium content for the feature film, episodic, and advertising industries.

HARBOR was founded as a home for moving image creativity at the forefront of the digital media era, disrupting a fragmented approach to filmmaking and bringing together all production and post-production disciplines under one roof – a unified creative process allowing for total control.

Since then, HARBOR has grown to a global company with operations in New York, Los Angeles, and London. Relentlessly focused on talent, technical innovation, and protection of artistic vision, HARBOR hones every detail throughout the moving image-making process: live-action, dailies, creative & offline editorial, design, visual effects, sound & picture finishing.

HARBOR was acquired in 2017 by Publicis Groupe, a global leader in marketing, communication, and digital transformation headquartered in Paris, France. As a part of Publicis Groupe, HARBOR is now strategically positioned at the nexus between entertainment and advertising allowing HARBOR to serve each genre independently as well as cross-genre productions. HARBOR’s portfolio and reach have expanded significantly, establishing a modern and cohesive, global service offering to its clients.
