Sound Effects Editor Darren Banks has over two decades of experience crafting sound for some of the most celebrated productions in British television and film.
His television work spans a defining era of UK drama, with credits including Spooks, Life on Mars, and Killing Eve – the latter earning him and his team a BAFTA for Best Sound in 2019, alongside multiple additional nominations throughout his career. Most recently, Darren has brought his signature craft to high-profile productions including Kaos, Rivals, and Bad Sisters.
On the film side, his work spans bold, acclaimed projects including Four Lions, The Death of Stalin, The Day Shall Come, Lee, Heads of State, and Goodbye June – a body of work that reflects his ability to serve wildly different tones and worlds with equal precision and imagination.
