Karim El Katari is a French colorist renowned for blending technical precision with artistic sensibility. With a foundation in photochemical grading, Karim has contributed to a diverse range of advertising and entertainment projects.
Karim’s commercial work includes collaborations with high-profile brands such as L’Oréal, Maison Margiela, Cartier, Nissan, Chevrolet, GMC, and Zeiss, working with top agencies like Punch Agency Paris, Moment Factory, Cossette, Qolab, TBWA Paris / Else, Sidlee, LG2, and Marlowe.
In cinema, Karim has lent expertise to projects such as The Past, a Cannes Film Festival Palme D’Or nominee, Message from the King, an Official Selection at the Toronto Film Festival, and Germinal, a Camerimage nominee. Previous roles include Senior Colorist at MELS in Montreal and Senior Colorist at Éclair in Paris.
